Out-of-Home Care Support
Culture Engage supports children who cannot live safely at home by coordinating safe and suitable placements. We provide ongoing carer support, including 24/7 assistance and respite care, while ensuring children’s health, education, and emotional needs are met through therapeutic and wellbeing services. Our services include maintaining cultural identity and community connections, managing care plans in partnership with Child Safety, and offering practical help such as transport and supervised family contact visits.
Key Supports We Offer:
- Carer recruitment and training (trauma-informed care, cultural safety).
- Placement coordination and home preparation.
- Ongoing carer support and crisis assistance.
- Child wellbeing services (health, education, therapy).
- Cultural and community connection for children.
- Case management and progress reporting.
- Practical assistance, including transport and supervised contact.
This approach ensures children are cared for in safe, stable, and culturally respectful environments while supporting carers and families throughout the process
