Social & Community Participation
Community Access: Support workers assisting participants to attend social, recreational, or cultural activities.
Capacity Building
Staff assist participants with developing daily living skills, engaging in social and community activities, preparing for employment, improving health and wellbeing, building independence through training and coaching, supporting decision-making, and implementing therapy strategies to achieve NDIS goals.
(SIL) Supported Independent Living
Support workers assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, household tasks, transport, community access, skill development, and record-keeping.
Group Activities
(STR) Short Term Respite
Support workers assist with personal care, daily living tasks, community access, skill development, health and wellbeing activities, and provide respite support to help participants live independently and achieve their goals.
Assistance with Daily Life / Daily Activities
Transport
Staff may provide transport by driving participants to appointments, community activities, shopping, education or employment, school or day programs, respite or STA locations, and by assisting with public transport to promote independence.
